An excellent movie.

Posted : 1 year, 11 months ago on 31 May 2022 10:58 (A review of Patch Adams)

Robin Williams is great, as usual. The story is touching and based on true events.

I don’t know why so many people hated this movie when it came out. They remind me the people who tried to stop Patch on the movie.

Maybe they need a little more joy in their lives? ;)

A beautiful movie about nothing

Posted : 2 years, 1 month ago on 20 March 2022 12:08 (A review of Dune)

The visuals are stunning, but they forgot the story.
It’s a beautiful movie about nothing.

If you’re looking for something visually beautiful, with great special effects, you will love it. If you’re looking for something with substance, you will just waste two and a half hours of your life.

Far from the Tree review

Posted : 2 years, 3 months ago on 2 January 2022 11:17 (A review of Far from the Tree)

Therapeutical and very well made. The animation is perfect and the story is great, specially if you’re an adult. If you’re a kid I understand that maybe you won’t understand or like it that much.

Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts review

Posted : 2 years, 3 months ago on 1 January 2022 11:47 (A review of Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts)

Even though I loved it, I still have to ask… Where’s J. K. Rowling? Do you know that without her none of this would even exist, right? And… Where’s John Williams? Without him the movies would not be the same.

This is a true classic. Very funny and heartwarming movie. It’s worth watching and rewatching.

Even though this movie has some positive aspects, the story is mostly inaccurate and some parts are dull. Any true fan of Tolkien will feel the same.

It’s a good adventure/comedy movie. You just shouldn’t take this movie too seriously. If you watch it just to enjoy and have fun, you will! I will definitely watch it again someday.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald review

Posted : 2 years, 9 months ago on 20 July 2021 10:28 (A review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald)

The actors are good, the visuals are good but there are so many things that don’t make sense in this story. If you’ve read Harry Potter books you know what I’m talking about.

Newt Scamander and Jacob Kowalski are excellent characters though, so I’ll watch all the movies.

Yeah…

Posted : 2 years, 10 months ago on 6 June 2021 10:02 (A review of Raya and the Last Dragon)

This movie had so much potential and of course it has many positive aspects, but it was kind of ruined by some pointless dialogues. Sometimes it seemed that some characters were regular modern teenagers who use internet and social network everyday. I know maybe they did it to appeal a bit more to the kids, but it totally doesn’t fit the story of the movie in my opinion. It could have been a 9, but I don’t even know if it’s a 6.5 …

Very fun.

It’s not just a kids movie, because adults can learn a lot with it too. I had a great time watching this movie. Thanks to Disney+, now I can watch this kind of movies whenever I want.
